He was born on the 4/6/1976 in Athens, Greece. He is a second generation Orthopaedic Surgeon having succeeded Panagiotis Papanikolaou. Since 2016 he took over the above medical practice in Athens and operates in private hospitals.
During the years 2020-21 and 2021-22 he was chief of the medical department for the professional basketball team Ionikos Nikaias BC, where he treated multiple sports injuries in elite athletes.
He is also a member as an orthopaedic surgeon of the scientific team of OPAP academies which guides and supports the development of young athletes.

In 2011 he moved to Glasgow, Scotland where he worked in the broad spectrum of Orthopaedics and acquired sub-specialization in Robotic and Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Operations, complex knee conditions, arthroplasty and arthroscopy.
He attended Postgraduate studies in Computer Assisted Knee Arthroplasty and Certified Musculoskeletal Ultrasound courses.
He has participated in scientific research presented in Orthopaedic Conferences both in Greece and abroad and he has published in peer-reviewed Orthopaedic Journals. He is a member of the General Medical Council of the UK and other Orthopaedic bodies.

He received his title of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology in 2011.

In 2007 he continued his Orthopaedic Training at Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens, Greece. As part of his orthopaedic training, he worked at KAT Hospital, in Athens subspecialising in Sports Injuries and Upper Limb Surgery and Microsurgery.

In 2006 he started his Orthopaedic Specialty at Argos General Hospital.

In 2005-6 he served his military duty at the Greek Air Force as Sergeant Doctor both in Air Force bases and at the Orthopaedic Clinic of the 251 Air Force Hospital.

In 2003-4 he did his prerequisite training in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Sitia for 18 months.

He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete Medical in 2002 with “Very Good” grade and then worked with GP duties for a year.

Attended Public Primary and Secondary schools achieving constantly excellent grades and he was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Crete in 1995 through National tests.

At the same time, he was playing basketball at a highly competitive level for the Juniors Greek National team and his basketball club, Marousi.
